Adorable. I almost went home with a Kenyan sand boa last week. It was a lot smaller than yours. It was more grey-blue instead of orange. What's that phase called?

That's freakin' adorable! My avatar/icon thingy is a very similar picture of my step-daughter holding my first corn snake. It was taken a few years ago, when she was almost three.

she's cute!

Your stepdaughter is very cute also. I have a corn snake as well and they are the sweetest things. Mine would let anyone hold her. Shes never even acted like she would bite.

My stepdaughter is extremely cute, but it's a cover-up. She's quite the little demon She knows she's very cute, too, which is a big problem sometimes. But we love her anyway.

All of my corns are very calm, even the rescues I've taken in. We don't handle them often, usually just to change water, clean tanks, etc. and yet they still don't seem to mind.

My milk, on the other hand, is almost certainly going to give me my first bite one day. She flops around and poops everywhere and just acts psychotic in general if you go anywhere near her.

kenyan sand boa

I saw your cute photo and had to laugh. My daughter's name is Paige and I got her a Kenyan sand boa for her 8th grade graduation! She loves it, she named it "Mouse." It looks just like yours. I think that coloring is the nicest. They had other hatchlings that were more a cream color with the darker brown blotches, but I wanted one that was orange and brown. My son has an adult KSB that is named Geoffrey (like the toys-r-us giraffe!). They do not like to be handled much, though. Although they seem very docile, if over-handled they will start refusing to eat.

Best of luck.
