Alright, here we go. I am thinking about getting a new pet, but I can't decide. Basically I only have a few points to make before I start getting suggestions.
1) Money is not an issue, so price is not neccessarily going to stop me, and I'm never cheap when it comes to housing a new pet.
2) I'm trying to stay at or below 3 feet in size.
3) They should be active as opposed to shy, not a burrowing species.
4) Handling is not neccesary, but friendliness is preferred. I wouldn't mind something I shouldn't touch though.
5) If there is something that meets most or all of those requirements, then maybe something that would enjoy using a large water area. I have a thing for water. The swimming part is not neccesary though, just an extra point.
6) Oh yeah, and please no snakes, I have an ophidiophobic in the house. I think they are great, but not everyone here agrees with that. Chameleons and anoles are out as well, great reptiles but I'm looking for something I haven't had before.
Before I say any of the reptiles I have been researching I want to get a few unbiased opinions for good reptiles that meet most of what I am looking for. Thanks for any help you can give me!
