You might consider a snake.....a snake takes a bit less money to set up than a lizard...
I dont know of too much that wont take some money to set up...

A snake wouldn't be a bad idea. I won't tell you not to get, as it is completely your choice...to each their own, but I would strongly think about the tokay. They are very hard to tame, their aggressive, and they bite like crazy. I've only seen one case of a tame tokay gecko and I really think he was supposed to be a leopard gecko and accidentally became a tokay. :D But, as I said, there are more adventurous people out there than me. As far as lizards...bearded dragon, smaller uromastyx (i.e. Maliensis), smaller geckos, or maybe smaller skinks.

i cant get a snake. i caught one once and mom threw a fit. shes terrified of them. she was afraiad of lizards and she still doesn like the worms or crix either. i was thinking a tokay because they are an observation lizard so it wouldn come out of the tank. so i think she might like that. i cant really find anything else. im not sure what an uromastyx is. i'll do some research. i was think'n a crestie also but the tank is to big. someone told me that.
